There were no serious injuries reported in a car fire that ignited a vehicle in Newark's Ironbound section on Wednesday night.
It happened near the intersection of Wilson Avenue and Lafayette Street just before 8:30 p.m. where firefighters were alerted to a vehicle fire with possible injuries.
Crews arrived at the scene and found the fully engulfed minivan with no occupants inside.
Firefighters were able to knock the blaze down in a short amount of time then launch an investigation into what caused the blaze. There were no other reports of property damage reported.
