A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Mr. Marvin Huey, 52, of Newark, on a charge of burglary that occurred on Thursday, August 30th.
According to a statement released by police, the victim reported that she parked her car in the 200 block of South Orange Avenue at 1:00 p.m. and when returned, she found that her vehicle was broken into with her purse and other personal items taken.
Detectives investigating this incident identified Huey as the suspect in this incident and have secured a warrant for his arrest.
Police say Huey is 5’4” tall, 150 lbs. and is bald with a medium complexion and brown eyes.
While police are actively searching for Huey, we seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing him from our streets. This investigation is ongoing.
