PSE&G crews are investigating a power outage that has thousands without power in Irvington Township at this time.
Utility crews were made aware of the outage at around 3:40 p.m. where officials are reporting over 16,000 homes and businesses affected.
PSE&G is looking into if the weather is the cause.
The expected time for a return of power is approximately 6:45 p.m according to PSE&G.
