Police in the Hunterdon County township of Raritan are investigating an incident where a child was found wandering during the early morning hours.
According to preliminary reports, police found the 2-year-old child in the single digit block of Rustic Trail at around 1:30 a.m.
Officers searched and performed a reverse 911 action where they located the child’s parent after 3 a.m. according to reports.
The child was taken to an area hospital for observation but there were no injuries reported.
The incident remains under investigation.
