Police in Totowa are on the search for several suspects who forced their ways into a residence in the city then physically assaulted a homeowner overnight.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to an address on Continental Circle at approximately 4:50 a.m. after receiving reports of a burglary.
Units arriving at the scene requested EMS when came across a resident who suffered a head injury at that location.
The victim was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
According to reports, three black male suspects invaded the residence and began to attack the homeowner.
All of the suspects fled the scene and remain at-large.
