There were non-life threatening injuries reported for the victim struck by a vehicle in Garfield early Friday morning.
Police were called to the area of Monroe Street and River Drive at approximately 1:50 a.m. to investigate reports of an injured person according to preliminary reports.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene and found the injured victim then transported them to St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson where doctors began threatening their injuries.
The Garfield Police Department will investigate the incident.
