State Police Detective Sergeant Dennis Cappello, of the Forensic Photography and Composite Artist Unit, is assisting the Essex County Sheriff’s Department with a sexual assault investigation.
Police say Sunday, August 26, the suspect pictured in the composite sketch sexually assaulted a female victim in Brach Brook Park in Newark.
DSG Cappello created a sketch of the suspect with assistance from the victim.
The suspect is described as a light-skinned Hispanic male in his early 20’s, approximately 5’6” and 150 pounds.
