Police in Trenton are on the search for a gunman wanted for a violent shooting that left a man injured in the city overnight.
According to police, gunfire erupted in the 30's block of Sandford Street at approximately 1 a.m. sending police to the scene where officers found the victim suffering gunshot wounds upon their arrival.
EMS transported the victim to the hospital where doctors treated his injuries.
Police collected shell casings and other evidence in an attempt to understand the motive for the shooting.
There were no suspects arrested.
