One person suffered minor injuries while two others suffered serious injuries in a late night crash in Maplewood.
According to authorities, the crash happened at around 9:15 p.m., in the vicinity of 80 Boyden Avenue near Elberta Road.
Police say the vehicle -occupied by three individuals-struck two parked cars at that location.
EMS responded and transported all of the occupants to University hospital for further evaluation.
Police say two of the occupants suffered potentially life-threatening injuries while a third person reportedly suffered minor injuries.
The Essex County Prosecutors Office were notified and responded on the scene for the investigation.
Police closed Boyden Avenue from Elberta Road to Midland Boulevard until the investigation was completed.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
