Police in Paterson are looking into a shots fired incident that occurred on a Paterson street this morning -Tuesday-.
According to preliminary reports, police responded to the vicinity of 165 Lafayette Street after receiving reports of shots fired that rang out at approximately 4:20a a.m.
Units arriving at the scene performed a search of the area where they found evidence that a shooting occurred, but there were no injured victims located.
Officers canvassing the scene found several shell casings according to reports.
The investigation continues.
