EMS transported an adult male to University hospital suffering stab wounds early this morning in Newark.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to a nightclub that's located in the 100 block of Bloomfield Avenue after receiving reports of an injured person at approximately 1:30 a.m.
Units arriving at the scene found the victim bleeding from the side after an unidentified person stabbed the man two times in the ribs then left the scene reports said.
Doctors and treated the conscious and alert victim who is expected to make a full recovery according to reports.
The motive for the stabbing remains under investigation.
There were no reports of arrests.
