There were non-life threatening injuries reported for the victim of a stabbing that occurred in Jersey City overnight.
Police were called to the 300 block of Grand Avenue to investigate reports of an injured person at around midnight.
Units arriving at the scene found the victim suffering a stab wound to the hip at that location.
According to reports, the uncooperative victim was transported to Jersey City Medical Center where doctors treated the injury.
The motive for the stabbing remains under investigation.
