A truck that crashed into a pole in Irvington Township caused power outages to more than 100 homes and businesses in the area this afternoon.
it happened at approximately 2 p.m. in the vicinity of Union Avenue between Laventhal and Webster where a Goya truck reportedly making deliveries in the area struck a pole causing it to lean then disconnect power.
Police closed off the area for safety concerns due to the leaning pole and downed power line.
PSEG officials are estimating a 6 to 8-hour repair timeframe.
