A shooting that left a man injured early Friday morning has police on the search for the suspect responsible for the incident.
According to preliminary reports, police were alerted to the vicinity of 712 South Broad Street at approximately 1:30 a.m. after receiving reports of shots fired.
Units arriving at the scene found a male victim suffering a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the neck according to Trenton Police officials.
The victim was transported to an area hospital where doctors treated him for his injuries officials said.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
