With Fourth of July just two days away, Union County towns prepare with numerous family-friendly events.
Clark:
Fireworks show are scheduled for to start at 9:15 p.m. at Arthur L. Johnson High School.
Cranford:
Fireworks will be held at Nomahegan Park at dusk. The town will alway host Cranford’s Jaycees Firecracker 4 Miler which is set to start at 8:30 a.m.
Elizabeth:
The 4th of July fireworks are scheduled for 9:30 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Waterfront Park.
Kenilworth:
The fireworks are scheduled to start at 9:15 p.m. at Harding School.
Mountainside:
The fireworks show will be held at the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes at 7 p.m.
New Providence:
Festivities in this town are set to start at 7 p.m. on July 3rd on South Street from Gales Drive to Springfield Avenue. Fireworks are scheduled for 9:30 p.m.
Summit:
Fourth of July Fireworks are set to start at 9:15 p.m. at Soldiers Memorial Field.
Union Township:
The town’s festivities includes kickoff at 10. a.m. with the town’s 11th annual All-American Soap Box Derby on Stuyvesant Avenue. Following the derby, a concert will be held at 7 p.m. while fireworks show is set to start at 9 p.m.
