An early morning crash that had a City of Paterson Fire Department Ambulance overturned in the downtown is under investigation.
It happened near the intersection of Main and Ward streets just before 4 a.m. when a vehicle collided with the ambulance causing the ambulance to overturn with a pregnant woman inside according to reports.
Firefighters and rescue crews arrived at the scene to assist the woman who did not appear to suffer severe injuries. There is no official word on the condition of the woman's babe at this time.
Paterson Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
