Brother of Janoris Jenkins Charged with Death of Music Producer Found Inside Bergen County Home

Authorities confirmed that the brother of New York Giants cornerback Janoris Jenkins has been charged in the killing of a music producer who was found dead at Jenkins' Bergen County.

According to Bergen County Prosecutor's Office, Music producer Roosevelt Rene, was found dead Tuesday inside Jenkins' Van Saun Place home in Fair Lawn. Police today announced that William H. Jenkins Jr. has been charged with aggravated manslaughter in connection with Rene’s death.

Officials say Jenkins - who is in custody in Ontario Co., NY. - appears to have been involved in a "physical altercation" inside the home early Monday morning, ultimately leading to the killing.

The public is reminded that the charges are merely accusations. Defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
