Union County Hazmat Crews were on the scene investigating a suspicious powder found inside the Union library Wednesday morning.
It happened at approximately 11:15 a.m. at the Morris Avenue bulding where officials informed police of white powder found inside a book according to preliminary reports.
Officers cleared the library while hazmat crews determined what the powder was.
The powder was not reported as dangerous.
The library reopened about an hour after.
