Firefighters in Clifton battled a raging two-alarm fire that damaged the kitchen of a restaurant Wednesday morning.
The fast-moving fire ignited at around about 5:00 AM at the Ya Hala Restaurant at 590 Lexington Ave.
Officials say the flames were held in check by the sprinkler system until firefighters could enter and extinguish the blaze.
The fire took less than one hour to control with no injuries were reported.
Passaic and Paterson firefighters assisted at the scene.
