There is an active investigation underway for a crash that has serious injuries reported in Rahway.
It happened at approximately 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of St. George Avenue and River Road where police and EMS arrived to find two cars collided head-on at that location.
Emergency responders pulled at least one unresponsive victim from a vehicle and rushed him to an area hospital.
The Union County Fatal Crash team was called to the scene to assist in the investigation.
Police closed St. Georges Avenue to Stiles Avenue for the investigation and cleanup.
