Police in Trenton took a male into custody after a pursuit ended in a crash on a street in the city.
According to reports, Trenton Police Street Crimes Unit attempted to pull a vehicle over for several violations when the driver of the car sped ignored officer's lights and sirens then sped away.
Authorities say officers followed the vehicle down Stockton Street when a police unit attempted to cut the car off on Perry Street.
The car reportedly lost control and crashed into a van at that location. The driver of the vehicle bailed from the vehicle and led officers on a brief foot pursuit.
Officers caught up with the suspect a short distance away and placed him under arrests according to authorities.
The pursuit caused damaged to two police units but there were no injuries reported to police officers.
