There were non-life threatening injuries reported for a victim who was struck by a car overnight in Plainfield.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the vicinity of East 5th Street and Watchung Avenue shortly before 2:45 a.m.
Upon their arrival, they found one person suffering injuries after a car struck them at that location.
The victim was transported to the hospital where they are expected to survive their injuries.
Police are investigating.
