The New Jersey State Police Missing Persons Unit and the Winslow Police Department are seeking the public's assistance with locating 13-year-old Kayla Dykes.
Police say Kayla was last seen today at 10:22 a.m. at her home in Sicklerville.
According to authorities, she was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, tan pants, and Nike sneakers.
Police want the community to note that her hair is now very short and worn in homemade corn-rows. Kayla is a black female with a medium dark complexion and a noticeable gap in her front teeth.
She is 5'02" tall, and weighs approximately 130 pounds.
