Police in newark are on the search for an armed carjacking suspect that reportedly stole a vehicle at gunpoint on Sunday.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the intersection of Thomas Street and Pennsylvania Avenue before 5 p.m. to investigate reports of a carjacking in progress.
Units arrived at the scene and were informed by the victim that an unidentified male suspect approached armed with a gun and took a gray Lincoln Navigator.
The vehicle has a reported Nj license plate number "N13-HLU" according to reports.
There were no physical injuries reported.
