EMS transported a male victim to University Hospital suffering non-life threatening injuries after a suspect robbed then attacked the victim in the city's South Ward.
Police responded to reports of an armed robbery in progress in progress in the 70's block of Seymour Avenue at around 3 a.m.
Upon officer's arrival, they found the victim suffering injuries after a suspect approached and announced a robbery. When the victim did not respond to the suspect's demands fast enough, he was then assaulted according to reports.
Police are conducting an active search for the suspects.
