Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose reports that police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the below pictured suspect in connection with an auto burglary that occurred on Wednesday, May 16, 2018.
According to police, at approximately 1:56 p.m., the victim reported that her vehicle was parked in her driveway in the 100-block of Poe Avenue when she found it broken into.
Police say the woman reported that cash and personal items were stolen.
Detectives from the 6th Precinct investigating this burglary identified a male who they believe unlawfully entered the woman's car.
While police are actively searching for the suspect, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing him from Newark streets.
