A violent stabbing that sent a male to the hospital overnight has police in Camden County investigating a motive.
It happened at approximately 10:35 p.m. in the vicinity of Cooper and North 5th streets. Police say officers arrived at the scene after receiving reports of an injured person.
Upon officers' arrival, they found the adult male victim suffering a stab wound to the chest.
The victim was transported to an area hospital in an alert and conscious state according to reports.
There were no immediate reports of arrests.
