Authorities announced today the arrest of a teacher at East Side High School in Paterson for nine counts of sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child and other related charges.
28-year-old Adelardo Romero of Montclair had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student, Acting Prosecutor Carolyn Murray is reporting that the Special Victim's Unit of the Essex County Prosecutor's Office and detectives from the Montclair Police Department
He turned himself in to the Montclair Police Department last evening he is in custody on a $150,000.00 bail.
The investigation is on going.
