A person wanted for allegedly stealing a wallet in Newark has police on the search for the suspect.
According to a statement released by Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose, the man is wanted in connection with the theft that occurred on Wednesday, April 4th.
Director Ambrose said detectives from the 1st Squad began the investigation that occurred in the 200 block of Central Avenue after receiving a call that a wallet had been stolen.
Officers developed evidence that identified the male as the suspect according to Director Ambrose.
