Newark Police announced the arrest of Ms. Zuzana Bracok, 37, a teacher in Newark, and Taquan Holley, 35, of Newark, for Unlawful Possession of a Weapon today.
Police say at approximately 1 a.m., officers patrolling the area of North Munn and South Orange avenues
conducted a motor vehicle stop of a 2006 black BMW with tinted windows and a missing license plate.
Officers observed a 9mm Smith & Wesson handgun inside the vehicle according to police.
Police arrested Bracok, of Union, and Holley without incident then charged the pair with Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.
These charges are merely accusations.
Each suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
