Police closed off a portion of NJ-129 in Trenton to investigate a pedestrian strike that critically injured one person overnight.
Emergency responders were called to the vicinity of NJ-129 and Hamilton Avenue at approximately 9:05 p.m. to investigate reports of a person struck by a vehicle.
Police and EMS arrived to find the severely injured victim at that location.
The unidentified victim was transported to an area hospital where their injuries were reported as life-threatening according to reports.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. There were no arrests reported.
