Firefighters in Edison battled a large fire that ignited mulch at a business in the city overnight.
According to preliminary reports, firefighters responded to 327 Meadow Road shortly before 11:30 p.m. when receiving reports of a and brush fire at that location.
Upon arrival, crews observed heavy flames coming from mulch reports said.
Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control but stayed on the scene for over an hour to extinguish small pockets of fire.
A man was transported to an area hospital suffering minor injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
