Federal officials announced that Laron L. James, a/k/a/ “Juelz Santana,” 36, of Totowa, is now charged by indictment with one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and one count of carrying a weapon on an aircraft.
Officials say the indictment was returned April 30, 2018.
James was originally arrested and charged by complaint with the same counts, as described in the historic press release of March 12, 2018.
Officials say his arraignment is scheduled for Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. EST before U.S. District Judge Stanley R. Chesler in Newark federal court.
