EMS transported the driver of a car to Overlook Hospital after a crash left him injured on I-78 near mile marker 46 in Summit Thursday evening.
According to a brief statement released by NJ State Police, the incident happened at approximately 5:53 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the highway where three cars collided causing the driver of one of the vehicles to suffer minor injuries.
Police closed off the left lanes for about an hour to investigate the cause of the crash.
There were no other injuries reported.
