A shooting that sent a male victim to the hospital on Wednesday night has police on the search for the suspect.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to a vicinity of Morton Street and Mt. Ephraim Avenue just before 9:45 p.m. after receiving reports of shots fired.
Units arriving at the scene found a male victim suffering a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg.
EMS transported the victim to an area hospital where doctors treated him for his injury.
There were no arrests made.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
