EMS rushed a woman to Jersey City Medical Center after a crash had her ejected from a vehicle in Jersey City early this morning.
The crash happened in the vicinity of Clendenny and Mallory avenues just before 1:30 a.m. where police responded to the scene after receiving reports of a car crash with injuries.
Upon their arrival, they found a female victim suffering severe injuries after she was ejected from one of the vehicles after a car struck another car near the intersection according to preliminary reports.
Police took one person into custody while they continued to search for another suspect who reportedly ran from the scene.
The Jersey City Police Department has launched an investigation.
