Suspicious Death of Elderly Male Under Investigation at Asbury Park Senior Citizen Building

FREEHOLD – Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance as they search for answers to explain how a man died in an Asbury Park senior citizens building complex, announced Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni.

A 57-year old man was found deceased Wednesday morning inside the Dr. Robinson Towers, located at 1000 Third Avenue. Asbury Park police responded to a 911 call around 11:18 a.m. requesting first aid for a fall victim at the complex.

Police arrived to find the victim lying in a stairwell of the building.

The incident appears to be suspicious and remains under investigation.
