Passaic County authorities are investigating a double shooting that occurred at a restaurant/nightclub in Paterson overnight.
Reports of shots fired sent police to the D'Classico's Restaurant located in the 50's block of Ellison Street just before 1:45 a.m. where officers arrived to find a severely injured male suffering a gunshot wound at that location.
EMS rushed the victim to St. Joseph's Hospital where doctors began to treat the victim for life-threatening injuries immediately.
According to a preliminary investigation, police working the scene were informed that a second victim entered St. Joseph's Hospital suffering non-life threatening injuries.
The restaurant reportedly rents out the upper floor space for private parties and events according to sources familiar with the establishment.
The investigation into the shooting is in its early stages, and there have been no arrests according to authorities.
