John M. White, New Jersey Lottery acting executive director, announced that there was one second-tier prizewinning ticket sold for the Tuesday, March 27th drawing that matched five of the five white balls drawn winning the $1,000,000 prize.
That ticket was purchased at Quick Chek #12, 1578 Route 206, Bedminster in Somerset County. If that ticket had been purchased with the Megaplier option, the prize would be multiplied to $3,000,000.
Three tickets were also sold that matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn winning the $10,000 third-tier prize.
Those tickets were sold at the following locations:
Bergen County: Valero Food Mart, 78 Ramapo Valley Rd., Oakland;
Essex County: Krauszer’s Food Store, 357 Franklin Ave., Belleville; and
Hudson County: TE - AMO, 1504 Paterson Plank Rd., Secaucus.
If those tickets had been purchased with the Megaplier option, the prizes would be multiplied to $30,000.
The winning numbers for the Tuesday, March 27th drawing were: 07, 25, 43, 56 and 59. The Gold Mega Ball was 13, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 03.
In addition, 44 other players matched four of the five white balls drawn making each ticket worth $500. Two of those tickets were purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to $1,500.
Moreover, 86,176 other New Jersey players took home $344,388 in prizes ranging from $2 to $600, according to White.
“Congratulations to the lottery winners and to the retailers that sold the winning tickets,” said White. “For selling the winning tickets, the retailers have become many more Lottery ‘lucky locations’ overnight.”
