There were no injuries reported in a shooting that occurred in a Jersey City neighborhood overnight.
Police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the 100 block of Van Nostrand Avenue at around 11 p.m. where officers arrived to find evidence that a shooting had occurred but after a search of the vicinity, no victims were located.
Authorities are looking for two male suspects who fired several rounds inside 164 Van Nostrand then left the scene according to reports.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
