Newark Police seeks the public's help in locating Sharissa Mills, 26, of Newark, who is wanted for an incident of aggravated assault that occurred on Mar. 17th.
According to police, at approximately 1:45 p.m., the victim was stabbed in his head and hand in Newark.
EMS transported the victim to East Orange General Hospital where doctors treated and then released him.
Authorities say detectives investigating this incident developed sufficient evidence to identify Mills as a suspect and obtained a warrant for her arrest on charges of Aggravated Assault, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose.
While police are actively searching for Mills, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing her from city streets.
