No one was injured after shots were fired from a vehicle leaving a local night club early this morning in Roselle, police said.
Police were called to Eden (Club Pouyas) on the 800 block of St. Georges Avenue to disperse an unruly crowd of approximately 200 leaving a rap concert shortly before 2 this morning.
Security told police that as a white vehicle was leaving the parking lot, two shots were fired from the vehicle at about 1:32 a.m.
Officers from Linden, Roselle Park and Union County police departments were called to the scene to assist with the non-compliant crowd.
No one was struck by the fired rounds and a search of the immediate area resulted in the recovery of one discharged shell casing, the chief said.
The investigation is ongoing. Police are reviewing surveillance video and interviewing the staff. The initial fired shots were never reported to the Roselle Police Department.
