The motorcyclist killed in a crash on Route 49 was identified as 50-year-old Linden resident.
Police responded to Route 49 near mile marker 10 for a report of a collision at approximately 3:30 p.m. in Quinton Township, Wednesday afternoon.
Jack Hash was traveling on a black Harley-Davidson motorcycle westbound when a Volkswagen Golf turned left into a parking lot.
Hash struck the passenger-side door of the car and was ejected from his motorcycle.
Hash was airlifted to the Memorial Hospital of Salem were he was pronounced dead at 5:37 p.m.
The incident remains under investigation.
