The Mercer County Prosecutor's office are continuing to investigate the death of a man found near a Hamilton Township over on Saturday.
According to a statement released by authorities, police responded to the 500 block of Assunpink Boulevard at around 2:45 pm where members of the Mercer County Homicide Task Force found a deceased male on the embankment of Assunpink Creek.
Authorities say the victim appears to be in his 20's and the matter is being investigated as a homicide.
The identity of the man has not been released at this time.
