A crash that caused several injuries on a Newark highway has police investigating.
According to preliminary reports, emergency responders were called to the northbound truck lanes of U.S. 1 after receiving reports of a crash with injuries reported.
Crews arriving at the scene found a single vehicle involved in the incident with multiple occupants out of the car reports said.
EMS transported about four people to University hospital suffering various injuries.
None of the injured were immediately reported as life-threatening.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by Newark Police.
