Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo announced the arrest of Luis Lozano, 40, of North Bergen, on charges of Sexual Assault and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Officials said that on Feb. 15th the North Arlington Police Department received a report that a juvenile female was sexually assaulted multiple times by Luis Lozano in 2017 and 2018 in North Arlington.
North Arlington Police Department and the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit initiated the investigation and as a result, police arrested Lozano on Mar. 16th in North Arlington then charged him with four counts of Sexual Assault and one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Acting Prosecutor Calo states that the charges are merely accusations and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, and would also like to thank the North Arlington Police Department for their assistance in this investigation.
