Police in Newark reports the arrest of Khalil Mosby, 18, of Newark, for possession of a loaded .40 caliber handgun and CDS.
AAccording to statement released by police, acting on citizen complaints of drug activity at the location, at approximately 3:30 p.m., detectives assigned to the Criminal Intelligence Unit responded to the area of the Pilgrim Baptist Village Housing Complex.
Police say, they observed a gun in Mosby’s waist officers seized the loaded .40 caliber handgun as well as over 37 vials of cocaine.
Police charged Mosby with the unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of a handgun while engaging in CDS activity, possession of CDS, distribution of CDS, distribution within 500 feet of public housing and distribution within 1,000 feet of a school..
