Firefighters in Newark knocked down a fast-moving fire that ignited inside a business in the city early this morning.
Fire broke out a 90A Broadway, just before 4:15 a.m., where crews arrived to find smoke and flames coming from the business according to preliminary reports.
Crews were able to bring the blaze under control in less than a half hour with a search of the premises coming back negative for trapped or injured occupants.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
