Police in Newark are on the search for three violent armed robbery suspects who committed two robberies in the city that caused bodily harm to one of the victims.
According to preliminary reports, the initial incident happened in the vicinity of South 12th Street and Clinton Avenue before 6 a.m. where two black male suspects approached the victim armed with a gun and demanded personal possessions before physically attacking with the weapon.
The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries according to reports.
Poice say the second robbery occurred in the 60's block of Schofield -Newark's West Ward- where suspects fitting the same description robbed the victim reports said.
The suspects fled the scene in an unidentified vehicle after the robberies.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
