East Orange Police are investigating a car crash that sent several people to the hospital Saturday evening.
The incidents happened before 8 p.m. at the intersection of South Walnut Street and Freeway Drive East where emergency responders were called to the scene for a crash with injuries.
Upon their arrival, they observed vehicles involved in the crash and three victims suffering various injuries.
All of the injured were transported to University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
